As well as running Big Noise Chorus, teaching in Exeter and London, Colin also works freelance on various musical projects from composing to leading singing groups and workshops.

Working alongside Speech and Language therapists, he has recently become involved in the world's first study into whether singing technique can be proven to aid in the feminisation of the voice for transgender clients at the Laurels in Exeter. The findings of this work will be presented in Bruges in March 2015.

This Spring he will be choir leading for Extraordinary Bodies' performance of their acrobatic show 'Weighting in Dulwich, London. The show involves able bodied and disabled acrobats, and features a choir in its finale.
